The Little Italy Boutique Hostel is located just 2-minute walk from the Perugia Cathedral. The structure was originally an ancient church of the XI century. Still visible authentic architectural elements and original frescoes mixed with contemporary-style décor.
Very close to the most important and famous attractions like Arco Etrusco, Fontana Maggiore, Acquedotto. Easy to go to Assisi and Trasimeno Lake by train (Passignano, Castiglion del Lago).
WiFi is free throughout. Familiar and friendly italian atmosphere, professionality and courtesy will welcome you. The hostel offers good price shared dormitory and private rooms with en suite bathroom.

Room is too crowded. I know it is a 12-bed but the space feels way too small for that. There was no AC and only one fan for all of the 12 beds, and this didn't reach the higher ones. It was essentially impossible to sleep with the combination of body heat and lack of ventilation.
That said, the location is great - just a few hundred meters away from the town center and bus stops back to the train station. So if that's your main priority, it is worth it.

I'd definitely stay there again when in Perugia! The place was really clean and comfortable, maybe the only thing missing were curtains at the beds. The lockers for the baggage are spacious and secure. Staff was kind, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The location couldn't be better. I would say the atmosphere isn't very social, but I'm aware it depends also on the people you happen to meet there
