Port Adelaide Backpackers are an awesome value for money hostel with guaranteed free on street car parking. We , are not far from the beach, free WiFi,(300mb), free pool table, free PS3 , games and dvds.
We are a clean, fun and friendly budget hostel in the heart of historic Port Adelaide. With all the banks, supermarkets, pubs, shops you could possibly need.
Only minutes away from Port river, dolphins and beautiful semaphore beach. All of our private rooms and most of our dorms are air-conditioned/heated.
Private and family rooms with double, queen and bunk bed options, so they can accommodate from one to six people in comfort. Just let us know when you book and we are happy to arrange the room to suit your needs.
All private rooms with tv, dvd, bar fridge. We have a movie room( 50 inch tv with over 200 movies free dvds) huge dining hall, coin laundry, outdoor smoking courtyard and free BBQ and all of this is only a short train ride from Adelaide city central train station( 20 minutes) secure lockers, cameras and combination locks assure your privacy and safety whilst staying with us.
Our friendly staff are more than happy to assist you while you are staying at Port Adelaide Backpackers. Our staff consist of an on-site manager who lives on the property and works during evenings and he is on call during the day. Our virtual receptionist are on duty from 8:00 Am- 9:00 Pm, so whenever you go to the reception there is always someone there happy to help you. They are skyped in from overseas and they are fully trained professionals, with years of experience in the hospitality industry.
•Guests MUST present valid Passport upon Check-in. Failure to present valid documents will result in denied check-in with no refund.
•Please note if booking more than 1 person into a dorm room, we cannot guarantee you will be in the same room. We will however try our best.
•There is a strict NO refund policy for all 'In house guests' who have changed their mind or their travel plans and no refunds on bookings paid in advance.

Same cost as Airbnb (so much better). Bad value for money. The kitchen was dirty, in terrible conditions, felicities pretty old, no staff there , good location. That’s it.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This hostel is the worst hostel i have ever stayed in. Im a young aussie man and stayed in a private room and still felt completely unsafe. The hostel is full of residents and there are no travellers, on top of this half the residents are crackheads and junkies. There were literal cum stains on one of the beds and we were woken up at 6am to a junkie screaming out his girlfriend for 3 hours with cops involved. Stay at the YHA or tequila sunrise. I cannot stress enough how horrific this hostel was. There are also no staff on premises so complaints and security are off the cards as well as having a strict no refund policy in which they charged me the full amount 3 days before i arrived?!? If you do not want to experience crackhead adelaide lifestyle please stay elsewhere, this place is for cheap accom in adelaide, not somewhere travellers should be staying.
