The place is very nice, a perfect combination between a place with atmosphere to meet people, and a quiet place to rest. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff is super friendly. I stayed in the hippie house, which gets mosquitos at night so be prepared with repellent. The only thing I disliked is the location, since walking alone at night from the center was scary and dark, although everyone said it's safe and nothing happened to me.

I think this hostel scores high because the pool is nice and big and the outside area is generally nice. However I was not happy with my dorm. Very basic bunk beds, with no personal charging ports. The room was very small for 5 people. It was uncomfortably hot and the AC did not work. I was unable to sleep so checked out early.

I hate to write this review because the staff is so friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are better in the area, it’s 15 minute walk at least to the central area and is a bit dodgy if you walk back at night. Also the “hipppy house†is less than 5 feet from a main road. Cars going by at night shake the place and are constantly waking you up, which others said the same thing. It’s poorly insulated place and also mosquitos. Had to book a hotel room to sleep.
