Our colonial style house has rustic charm and character with individually decorated rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, a cozy living room with sofas, cable tv, board games, book exchange, instruments, and two lush gardens with outdoor furniture and hammocks; plenty of common areas where people can meet and come together or just chill.
Our dorms have individual beds (no bunks), a personal shelf and electric socket next to each bed and plenty of space for your belongings, window shutters to keep the early morning light out and an abundance of blankets to keep the cold at bay. We have security lockers.
We are well informed about Xela and can help with any shuttles, tours, hikes (prices already compared and matched for you), Spanish classes, volunteering, salsa & bachata classes, yoga classes, local hidden gems; whatever you need to get the most out of your stay in Xela.

A gorgeous complex with simple rooms that cover all your basic needs. The door to the room we were in needs a better lock or needs to be fixed, but the main door into the complex locks perfectly well and the hostel seems very safe. Loved the amenities.

Really good hostel to stay while you’re in Xela, the staff at the reception is really helpful with every question you have- super lovely!
Kitchen has everything you need to cook.
Location is good to reach everything you need. Ist not that social, because a lot of people only stayed 1 night to make there way to the next stop.

We had a private room which was basic but nice, the curtains didn’t cover the windows so make sure you have an eye mask! The bathrooms were basic but fairly clean and the kitchen had all the pots/pans etc that we needed and a water filter tap. The volunteers were friendly and staff let us leave our bags for a few hours after we’d checked out. Definitely not the busiest town, and no real social atmosphere in the hostel but nice for a quiet few days in Xela.
