a&o Brighton Palace Pier, a former hotel, is ideal for backpackers, solo travellers and groups of friends wishing to take advantage of this great city centre location. All rooms are en-suite, and we even have 18 double bedrooms for those couples looking for a romantic getaway on a budget. The hostel has a chilled out bar where you can relax with a cold beer and tuck into a delicious pizza from our restaurant.

Cancellation policy
Standard Booking:
You can cancel your booking free of charge until 1 day before arrival day. Travelers who cancel less than 24 hours before 11:59 p.m. CET on the day of arrival (including no-shows) will be charged a fee equal to 100% of the booking amount.
Non-refundable booking:
Property will charge the outstanding amount at any time after the booking has been made. If your card is invalid, property will contact you for new card details. If you don't provide those details, property is entitled to cancel your reservation.

Was good, cheap and cheerful and the location was perfect for what I needed.
Key things from me:
- there are no lockers or anywhere to store your stuff in the rooms
- there was no hand towel or anywhere to dry your hands after washing them
- it’s a hostel not a youth hostel which means less social atmosphere and different crowd in the room
Everything was good though and the staff were nice, I would book here again if I was staying overnight in Brighton.

The location is great, my dorm was clean and spacious. I was visiting someone in Brighton, so I didn't spend as much time in the hostel as I normally would. However it had a great common space to meet people. No complaints. The only thing I would like to note is that they have storage lockers available however they are down the hall or on another floor and not in the rooms themselves.

One thing that I am very unhappy about is the misinformation I was given on towels. When I checked in, the guy I spoke to said would I like a RENTAL towel. I remember clarifying back to him what he said. I was specifically told if I pay the price for the towel and bring it back in the morning, I would be able to get my money back. In the morning, I took it back to them and it was different staff and they said no this isn't correct at all. Kind of frustrating, even if it's not an expensive item
