This hostel is simply awesome! The food was delicious and they have the nicest courtyard! There is a host always around for anything you need. Their guide Sam is super helpful with any requests or information and really quick to respond. Housekeeping turns your room everyday which eas a nice surprise. I would definitely return to La Mansion in San Gil!

This hostel made us go to a different hostel (SAMS VIP), booked the 4 bed mixed dorm and they just said they were moving us to a different hostel and walked us down the road, no real explanation.
However, if we did stay in La Mansion the location is good.
When moved to SAMS VIP a few dorm mates told us the same happened to them, so I think this is a common occurrence, be careful if you decide to book here as it’s likely you won’t be staying there.

In General, really loving staff and reading to help. I had a 4 bedroom and it was only me in so had all the privacy. The bathroom are kind of clean but not cleanest I have seen in colombia. The activities and staff is what made me love this place. Also the location of the place. The atmosphere is a bit lacking tho, don’t expect any big parties except tejo
