Property Description
Star Hostel is located in the ‘City Museum’, a historical part of Kutaisi, the oldest city of Western Georgia. This is also in the very centre of the city, 37 Tamar Mepe St. The central square, park, restraints serving traditional Georgian food, bars and nightclubs are all within easy walking distance (about 3 minutes walk).
The hostel has 9 rooms (1 twin suite, 5 twins, 1 with four beds, 2 with eight beds), 5 bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. It also has a hall with television and offers free WiFi. The price is 12 USD per person including breakfast.
At the moment we have an offer – 100 grams of traditional Georgian strong alcoholic drink “Chacha” free. There is a car park next to the hostel and 24 hour parking costs 1 USD. We also offer our guests bicycle rental services (24 hours – 3 USD), transportation services and tour organization.

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

It's a simple cheap hostel. I stayed in private room a it had the basic stuff I needed: bed, small table and a chair. It's best asset is the location, there's a small store open until 00:00 hrs just in front. The "city center" is 5 min walking. There are plenty of small local restaurants around. A bolt from the airport is around 30 GEL (12 euros). If you are on a budget but don't want to sleep in common room, for the price it's a good option.

We found fleas in our private room and my wife had a bad allergic reaction. We asked for a refund to go somewhere else, but they wouldn't give us one. They only offered a different room. Even a partial refund would have been acceptable, but no. So we left for another hostel, but we didn't check out, so they couldn't make double the money on the room. A few days later I went back to check and they had a key in our door. They have keys in all the doors to rooms free to rent.
Also the kitchen isn't big enoug
