T&C’s:
* Check-in is available from 2:00 pm. Guests must check-out by 9.30am on their day of departure. Luggage storage is available.
* Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay at Freedom Rainbow without their parent or guardian.
* Guests staying in dormitory rooms must be aged 18+.
* Accommodation must be paid in full at or prior to check-in. Bookings taken over the telephone will require payment of a deposit equal to one night’s accommodation for the booking.
* 24-hour cancellation policy: There is no cancellation fee for bookings cancelled at least 24 hours prior to check-in. Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours prior to check-in will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the first night’s accommodation.
* If you have made a reservation for more than one person in a dormitory room and you want to be allocated beds in the same room please make this request at the time of booking.
If you do not make a request at time of your booking then we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate the entire group in one room.
* All guests are required to present valid photo identification when checking-in. Freedom Rainbow will only accept a valid international Passport for international guests. Guests without valid photo ID will not be permitted to check-in.
* Freedom only accepts EFTPOS payments for the duration of Covid-19

We stayed here before our Fraser Island tour. With this hostel you pay for what you get. We did have cockroaches in our room though which was as a bit of a shock hahaha

The location and price were very good however the facilities need some improvements. Everything seems a bit outdated and no restoration or maintenance has been done there for a long time.
Another very annoying thing was the noise, specially in the morning when the staff for the Fraser Island tours was giving instructions to the other guests we could hear everything from our room, they should find somewhere else to do it.
