Dirty room with a COCKROACH. Our room had not been cleaned after the last guests, the bathroom was full of hairs, dirty toilet brush, both bunk beds were full of hairs and stains. We went to reception to ask for another room but they were full. We then had to change the sheets of the beds ourselves at 11pm. The second night there was a cockroach in our room. The bathroom window was not private, the room was infested with mosquitos and no nets.
No security, they let anyone in.

The Hostal is colourful with good spaces to socialise and good facilities. Staff were lovely and helpful.
But minimal security front door always open and no key for dorm room, did have decent lockers though. There were so many mosquitoes at night!
