Welcome to Chill Inn Hostel & Beach Cafe!
We're located on a beautiful secluded private beach on the edge of Lamai. Roughly 1.5km south of Lamai Beach (the beautiful long beach) and 9km south of Chaweng Beach (the biggest party and tourist area on the island).
The hostel has been operating for over 5 years and we have over a thousand genuine reviews on Hostelworld!
We are situated on the main ring road of Samui, so the hostel is easy to locate from the airport or the numerous ferry ports. It is also close to many of the attractions of the island including waterfalls and many of the nicest viewpoints. There is a water sports center and a few restaurants on the same beach. The laundry service and Family mart are just 1 minute walk from the hostel. We also have free kayaks and paddle boards for you to take out. We arrange cars and scooters for our guests to rent and delivery and return is at our door.
The hostel has great lounge areas for guests to mingle. We feel that an important part of any hostel is providing the guests the opportunity to meet fellow travelers. Our mission is to welcome any and all backpackers and travelers looking to explore the wonderful experiences of Koh Samui and to make sure we play a fundamental part in making the memories of a lifetime. We look forward to welcoming you to the ever growing Chill Inn family.
The hostel has a beach side bar, lounge area and cafe. Sip a cold beer or cocktail while enjoying the spectacular views. The café serves a mixture of Thai and western cuisine as well the best coffee on the island. Our guests can enjoy happy hour on cocktails from 4pm to 6pm.
Chill Inn Hostel & Beach Cafe has 38 beds in our various hostel rooms.
The hostel is right on the beach so when you open the door in the morning you can smell the fresh ocean air!
All of our rooms are fully air-conditioned.
We have a total of 6 showers and 6 toilets for our guests and 2 bathtubs (only in Dorm D & E).
We have excellent free Wi-Fi, Kayaks, Paddle boards, Sun beds, frisbee, beach mats, game boards Darts and Beer Pong to keep our guests busy!
Our Hostel & Beach Cafe bar sis situated right on the ring road and the beach.
We do play the best music selection during the day & night.
We can organize taxi transfers for our guests to enjoy any part of the Island.
We can also organize trips for you around the island or to Ko Phangan, Ko Tao Pig Island (Koh Madsum) and the Ang Thong National park.
We also offer our own Island & Ocean tours.

The property has probably got the best view with beach access. Staff and the manager is pretty cool and helpful.
On top, they have got Kayak and paddleboards, grab ‘em and have fun!

A nice location with direct access to the beach. As well as lovely open bungalows to eat, take a beer and rest whilst looking out on the waves. As most other hostels, they sell weed - although at chill inn it smelled of weed most all hours of the day on the premises. Have not experienced this other places on our trip around Thailand so far, so could be something to consider for future non-smoking guests.
