Truly off-the-beaten track Nicaragua experience you won't find in guidebooks. Stay at Finca Joco Mico - an ecological farm in the Nicaraguan countryside with an ocean view and access to a beautiful waterfall.
Nicaraguan coffee and fruit in the morning is included. Daily meal plan (includes lunch and dinner): $9
We use fruits and vegetables from our farm when they're in season. One meal a day is vegetarian.

The dormitory is clean and basic. It has electricity, 6 beds, fan, and tile floors. Fresh air flows through the room. Here, we live a simple Nicaraguan campesino lifestyle: we bathe down at the river or take a bucket bath, we drink fresh mineral water, work is done by hand, we use a compost toilet.

There are plenty of activities to do in our humble Nicaraguan village. Or, just relax and take a break from traveling.Take adventure tours with our local guide, learn to cook Nicaraguan food, practice and learn Spanish, swim at nearby waterfalls, learn about permaculture, visit our local beaches on the Pacific Ocean, practice yoga, meditate, read a book in a hammock...
