It's a great place to stay and explore. Great location, full of history and activities to do. Staff is such nice and helpful. Free luggage storage. I will totally recommend it to friends.

It's always great when a hostel is built into a historical site (unless you are a smoker, in which case you are out of luck). I really enjoyed my stay at the Fremantle Prison YHA, met lots of cool people, and had plenty of space to do computer work or hang out. It's a bit inconvenient that most of the bathrooms are on the other side of the hostel from the dorms and people aren't always the best at cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen, but this is definitely the place to stay in Fremantle.

This is hostel, was the best hostel I have stayed in. Staff were lovely, especially the lady and gentleman that checked me in after a very long night in awful hostel within Perth.
I cannot recommend this hostel enough, they even had a lovely acoustic band on, lovely.
