If there is a perfect backpacking hostel out there, the Villa Oropeza Hostel is definitely a serious aspirant for the title.

Beautiful garden. Lots of people staying here for Spanish classes and a really social atmosphere whilst not being a party hostel. Lots of places to chill and centrally located within walking distance of everything you would want to do in Sucre. Dorm and bathroom clean with good showers. Kitchen often a mess but was heavily used by travellers during my stay here. Lockers in the dorm rooms.
