Buttermilk Lodge (named after Buttermilk Lake - Loch Ime) is a warm, comfortable & friendly home located just 5 minutes walk ( 400 meters) from Clifden town in beautiful Connemara offering one and two bedroom self catering apartments for holiday lets.

* Our home was purpose built to accommodate guests in comfort. Each apartment is named after a local lake,individually decorated, spacious and comfortable with seperate entrances, living areas and fully equipped kitchens, with hobs, ovens, microwaves, coffee maker, washer/dryers, crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils etc. No meals are included but on arrival there is tea/coffee, cereals, juice, homemade bread, cake and condiments.

* The ensuite bedrooms (each bedroom has its own shower room with shower,toilet and wash-hand basin) have large comfortable beds with multi channel tv, hairdryer, towels, personal toiletries, ironing facilities and many extras.

* There is complimentary private parking to the front and rear of the house.

* There is excellent wifi throughout the house.

* Our Connemara Ponies and Sheep are raised on our land a few miles from the house, if you wish to visit we'll give you directions, you can also meet Milo our springer spaniel and Robbie & Ben our sheepdogs.

*Patrick and Cathriona the proprietors / hosts have many years training and experience in the hotel & catering industry and have used it to provide a real home from home, catering for your every need.

* We have lots of information on restaurants, pubs, walks, treks etc. We will do all we can to ensure you enjoy your time in Connemara.

* Children over the age of 10 are welcome, sorry we do not accommodate under 10s.
