Bay of Islands Lodge offers value accommodation in central Paihia, just 250 metres from Paihia's beautiful beach.
All accommodation is sold per room only (no individual traveller bunk dormitory accommodation is offered).
There is a wide variety of rooms at our solar powered Lodge: Queen, Double, Twin, Family rooms and a 2-Bed Suite, all of which have their own ensuite bathrooms. You can also choose to book the Lodge for exclusive use.
Our welcoming live-in owners are extremely knowledgeable about the region and pride themselves in ensuring every guest has a memorable stay.
Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and on-site car parking. The covered courtyard area features spaced picnic table seating and a BBQ with great indoor-outdoor flow, from the well-equipped shared kitchen and lounge area with Sky TV. Laundry facilities are also available at the Lodge.
The tour desk can book local activities such as Bay of Islands cruises, kayaking trips, helicopter flights, snorkelling, jet boating, fishing, skydiving, biking and trips to Cape Reinga.

No complaints! Staff was super friendly and helpful, gave us plenty of great recommendations of things to do. Room itself was very clean and well worth the price! Very considerate too as they gave us each both a soft and stiff pillow to choose from. Shared kitchen facility was well stocked and tidy!
Location was also excellent, short 5min walk to beach and main shopping area. Parking was easy too.
Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This was one of the best places to stay in the bay of islands. It’s about a 2 min walk from the beach and only about 5 mins to the ferry to get to other islands around the bay. The staff were so helpful and friendly they gave me lots of advice of what to do with my time in the area. The facilities were great, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the room was lovely and clean. 10/10 stay.
