Music is our thing in The BackStage Hotel Amsterdam. A music concept hotel on a great location in the city centre next to the venues Paradiso, Melkweg, Sugar Factory etc. You'll feel like a star when playing your own vinyl, while sitting on your drum kit seat and the spot light is on YOU! When you are outside the hotel all main stages are just a few steps away. As are the restaurants, bars, clubs and museums. Our full licensed bar is has a pool table
Free Wifi is complementary in all rooms and whole hotel is non smoking! ((as regulated by the government July 2008...)
Please be aware that the stairs are steep and unfortunately we do not have an elevator.
Room prices are excluding 6% City tax.
Breakfast buffet including coffee, tea, juices etc. is Euro 9,- per person per day.
Wireless is available free of charge, the reception provides you with the login code.

The hotel is staffed 24/7. The bar is open 24/7 for hotel guests only.
We have some instruments (piano, guitars, bass etc.) which you can use @ the bar.
There are different music magazines you can read @ the bar.
For early arrivals; just leave your luggage at the desk. On check out day you can store your luggage as well with us.

Best hostel we have stayed in during our euro trip so far , staff went above and beyond for us and the rooms were perfect ! Couldn't have asked for anything more !

Staff is really nice. If you’re in Amsterdam, be ready to walk a lot or rent a bike:) Location of the hostel is very good though. You have about 10-20 minutes to the busier streets and shops. There is no elevator so you need to take the stairs. Rooms are quite spacious. The carpet in the room was quite dusty but otherwise clean. Overall a very good experience. Would come again.
