cheapest private i could find because i needed to quarantine after covid exposure. The facilities are nice, and the terrace was really cool, but there wasn't anyone there (worked great for me, but maybe not for a solo traveler looking to meet people). the surrounding neighborhood was cute and felt safe, and overall better than i expected. would be a great place to stay in a budget and hang out at the more popular hostel bars to meet people and make plans

The room did not meet our expectations, as the pictures online did not correspond with our basement room. The bathroom came across as an after-thought (comparable to the harry potter room). The location was okay, the staff was friendly, but conversations were audible throughout the hostel (room towards the inner court).

This hostel was so quiet - which is what we needed after a week in Puerto - but I can’t imagine it would be much fun for a solo traveller. We booked a private room which was really comfy, had air con and good WiFi.
