Hotel 'Residence Flamani' is a nod to the Flamani section in the town of Aného, the first capital of Togo, located 45 km from Lomé, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. This part of Aného is where the Royal Flamani Palace is located; and is also where the hotel’s founder spent his childhood. “Flamani” is a deformation of the name Freeman, the last name of Mr. Thomas Birch Freeman, a young missionary who was the pastor of John Wesley Methodist Mission in Freetown (Sierra Leone), and who lived in the neighborhood in the 19th century.

Hotel Residence Flamani is a quite residential area very close to the airport located in La Cité de l'Union or SITO-Aéroport opposite the terminal building of the Lomé international airport, just a 5 minute walk away.

The rooms and suites of the hotel are dedicated to the following cities: Accra, Bamako, Bangui, Bonn, Lomé, New York, Ouagadougou, Praia and Yaoundé. They are cities where the founder of the hotel and his family had lived. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some units feature a seating area for your convenience.
