We also have private rooms with extra large beds (2.2m x 2.2m) fan, hot water, air-conditions, free Wi-Fi available. Relax in the hammocks, or have a drink or local food together with the hosts. We will do our best to make your stay a good one.

We can help you find all activities that are offered in the area, such as canoeing and hiking. The grand and famous Sigiriya Rock is only 1.2 km little rock 2 .km from our hostel, Minneriya National park only 9 km and Kaudulla national park only 23km from the property. We can also help arrange bike rental, car rental, spa, massage, village tours, jeep safaris and taxi (shuttle) service.

When I booked it said breakfast and AC, but they don’t offer breakfast and you have to pay extra if you want the AC which is ridiculous. Also pretty sure the sheets were not cleaned because they felt sandy. The family is nice but there is drama with the people in the village about getting tourists business and the host was trying to speak to me about it which I didn’t really like.

We stayed here for our first night after heading here straight from Colombo. We were the only 2 people here on this night, however it was still an enjoyable time here. The hostel is very close to Sigiriya rock - you can actually see it from the hostel. The staff were friendly and helped us organise an early am sunrise hike to Pidurangala rock and an elephant safari.

Staff were very nice, however there was no blankets in the rooms and they charged an extra fee to turn on the air conditioner. Overall the property was cheap but it felt a bit disingenuous. There was no real atmosphere.
