Come and stay in our warm and friendly, historic hotel. Built in 1921 with loads of original architectural features. Situated at the end of the High Street, just a slow 10 minute walk to the beach and sea front. Yet set in it's own quite gardens with wildlife and fauna. The Darnley Hotel is licensed and you can enjoy the gardens over a quite drink before dinner.

North Devon is one of the most prettiest places in England to visit, with rolling hills and moors. You can enjoy the many places offering cream teas and family orientated attractions. Within a short walk you can visit the Tunnels Beaches, Ilfracombe Museum, Ilfracombe Aquarium, the Quay and Harbour. Spend the day looking at the variety of little shops in the high street and the indoor Market has just won another award! Worth a visit.

The Darnley Hotel is on 4 levels. Dogs are allowed on the ground floor rooms. The family rooms are situated on the top floor, with their own private bathrooms. We have a Twin/Superking room with en-suite shower. King Slay bed room with En-suite shower, Bridal suite with Four poster bed and spa bath and separate dressing area.
