Chaantalay is very much a hotel vibe. The privacy of the rooms was nice vs a hostel but the beds were quite hard and there was a lot of noise at night sometimes. The staff were friendly and facilities were decently clean. Was fine for a one night stay.

Beautiful relaxing place to stay only 10 mins away from main street, however it is up a steep hill. Pool was quiet in the day and by chance I had a room with a beautiful view of the sunset. Very clean and modern. Definitely not a social hotel so don’t recommend for solo travellers but you can easily meet people other places.
