Property Description
Tucann Hostel is all about family hospitality, it is attended and managed by a local family made up of Mom and Dad (Lili and Gustavo), their daughter (Mariel) and their grandchildren (Emma, Salvador and Paulina). We expect to make the tourist feel at home and as our special guest. We offer services such as a shared kitchen (with all its utensils), pool, free Wi-Fi, shared and ensuite bathrooms and lockers.
If you choose to have your stay at our hostel we guarantee you will have an unforgettable experience being part of our family, sharing our traditions and of course come with the desire to enjoy every time.
We are located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, within the heart of the Puerto Iguazu City (close to several shops and services like banks, bus station, supermarkets, exchange bureau, and bars or restaurants).
We offer you different rooms with all the services that a tourist might request, as we said we do our best to make the guest feel comfortable and pleased with our facilities (see air conditioning, housekeeping service, etc.) we also advise our guests about the different tourist spots and attractions.
IMPORTANT: All our prices are in USD but if you want to pay in Argentinean pesos, it will be in the 'blue' exchange rate of the corresponding day.

i arrived at 2pm, the gate was closed and i didn't know what to do, but the host answer me on whatsapp and solve the problem. It is near for bus station, for bank and downtown, very cleaned and nice crews.Thank you guys, hope to see you next time

Family is really nice and the location is convenient to the bus station and places for food. Ultimately though some big quirks regarding cleanliness - from what I saw one bathroom (one toilet, sink, shower) is shared amongst three of the rooms plus acts as somewhat of the main bathroom for any house visitors (12+ people) and although there is someone who cleans in the AM, it’s not well maintained throughout the day. There was always only like a coin size of soap or none (had to always ask for more), low toilet paper, and the shower didn’t properly drain (which mean your feet were submerged in not only your dirt but everyone prior who had showered). Safety wise, left early one more to head to the falls and the house was locked from the outside, all doors. Not sure if that is the case every night but super unsafe to lock visitors in the house overnight, with no way of getting out. Had to message the host to have someone drive over to unlock the doors so I could leave. With a little more attention, property could be great, I just didn’t have the best experience.
