International Traveler’s House was founded to create memorable, authentic and unique experiences for travelers. We do this through connecting our guests with local culture, neighborhoods and adventures. At our hostel, we have a passion for community and love to bring travelers together to explore the city and make memories. We start everyone’s day with a complimentary breakfast and advice on amazing activities to showcase our beautiful city!
Located right on the sand in Pacific Beach, the location doesn’t get any better! The hostel has a large private outdoor deck where travelers can socialize, check out the waves and soak up the sunshine. Amazing restaurants and popular bars are all within walking distance. Travelers can easily access all of San Diego’s top activities.
The external floor plan offers lots of outdoor space to meet other travelers. Inside the lounge, guests can enjoy a variety of cozy spaces to relax or work from. The unique design of our bungalow style building creates a social, friendly and fun atmosphere. Hosted social events happen every evening for guests to connect and meet other travelers.
We have several room options, including female only rooms, dorm style rooms and private rooms. We also have free Wi-Fi. Surfboard and wetsuit rentals are available.

Good atmosphere, nice activities hosted by the staff. Great location right on the beach. Comfortable common spaces. I realised I didn’t have my running shoes a few days after I left the hostel. The staff were really helpful about this and offered all that they could do. Sadly they were taken by someone so obviously the staff couldn’t do much. This stuff just happens in hostels, not the hostels fault I believe.

Overall my stay was good, I loved the ocean view vibe here for sure, however just few things disappointed me. Two of freezers were totally packed and unorganized, the complementary breakfast was not enough for everyone. My friend and I showed up to the kitchen at 8:30am, and only could find empty hotcake batter bowl with nth beside. No staffs around to restock as well as no one at reception desk on out checkout day. Daily event feature and location are great.
