Beautiful hostel with a lovely atmosphere and great staff! Mahmoud is happy to chat about Egypt history and culture and help organize and plan your trip. Bob (the cat) is a LOVELY addition. The food is absolutely delicious, breakfast is included and lunch or dinner can be bought for 150EGP.

**STAY AWAY!!**
How this dump has such a high rating is ridiculous!!
Highlights include:
- Old, disgusting shower with toilet seat on the floor of the showet
- Getting locked in the hostel for 20mins. and the worker didn’t want to come downstairs open the door.(Happened again the next morning to another guest).
- not enough food was left for breakfast
- staff was too busy smoking hash to work or be remotely helpful
