Established in May 2018 The Light House will most likely be your home away from home. Perfectly located on the beach and in the heart of the An Thuong area, guests of the Light House will be able to experience the neighborhood's unique and vibrant social atmosphere. Did we mention a breathtaking 20km stretch of unobstructed public beach!
The Light House is a modern hostel involved in several socially responsible initiatives to give back to Da Nang's community while supporting the purposeful travels of all, and like-minded adventurers.
We have a few room options for you:
Dorm beds (rooms of 6, mixed or not) with privacy curtains and comfy sheets and mattresses. Secure all of your traveling belongings in our lockers and rest up for a day of adventure.
Private Rooms with ensuite and balcony - Our private rooms come with a spacious balcony with a view, newly renovated bathrooms, and an extra comfy bed to sink into after a long day of exploring.

Da Nang is a good base for your Central Vietnam adventures, day trips to the ancient town of Hoi An are only 20km south, while 30km north is the historic Hai Van Pass. Furthermore, guests have come to recognize Da Nang as a good halfway point in their Vietnam journey. Located on Vietnam's cleanest stretch of public beach it's quite easy to get some quality R&R.

Bikini Bottom (Opposite the hostel) - Awesome burgers, poutines, grilled cheeses, fish n fries, cocktails and lots more goodness
Op La Cafe (Opposite the hostel) - The go-to spot for a great breakfast, choose from muffins, platters, pancakes, croissants, eggs bennies, and more.
Rainbowl Poke (An Thuong 30 - 5 min walk) Looking for something a bit healthier? We've got you covered. Our Hawaiin-inspired poke restaurant offers poke bowls, smoothie bowls, sushi tacos, and salads.
The beach directly in front of the Light House boasts some very nice waves perfect for beginner to intermediate surfers. Surfboard rental is available. If you are new to surfing you can even hire a local surf instructor!

Dorms are not ok and bathrooms are awful. Curtains of beds are barely holding on, there’s mould on the walls.
There’s a very big smell of humidity and p***.
Cockroaches in the bathroom as well as mould.
No atmosphere at all.

Had bed bugs in first room, was moved to another room and had all clothes cleaned for free which was good. The atmosphere was very quiet, not a lot going on

Room itself was clean and modern, but the bathroom was very damp and mouldy. Nice location and close to pretty much everything.
Downside is that one of the hostel dogs tried to attack and bite when approaching to pet it. Staff didn’t make it aware not to touch the dog as it was an introverted dog until after the incident.
