New Teddy's on the Beach just opened its doors directly at the stunning beach of Jambiani at the East Coast of Zanzibar. Every morning you awake to crystal clear water. We offer different kind of accommodation for all kind of traveller groups. The bar and restaurant is the place to chat and meet other travellers. We have plenty of chilling choices – hammocks, swings, beds. Whatever you need. You can play, use our strong wifi or try the slackline. Our 18-meter pool will refresh you in the low tide times of the beautiful ocean.

We are located in Jambiani, a beautiful picturesque fisher village. On one side of our hostel is the ocean, on the other the village. When stepping out on the village road you are in the middle of local shops, kids playing, men chatting and women selling different products. You can witness pure and real African life and work in a very friendly and interested African world.

New Teddy's on the Beach is a great hostel with different kind of accommodation. For different kind of people. We are a perfect place for backpackers with loads of space and fair prices and a great location in the middle of the village. However, especially during and after covid more and more families came to visit us - cool families, easy going families, open minded families.

Therefore we have 2 big dormitory rooms with sand floor and shared bathroom. And we also have bungalows for 2, 3, 4 and even 5 people. These rooms have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have fans and mosquito nets.

Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival.

Check in anytime (depending on occupancy). The Bar is our reception area and is open until 1am.
Check out before 10:30.
