Hostel staff was rude and reprimanded us upon arrival for parking in the wrong spot. It was noisy all night and someone blocked our door with a fishing pole. We checked out early because of the uncleanliness and noise. We didn't receive a refund. I'd recommend the Sandbar instead.

OUTSTANDING value for my money and simple needs. Not automatic luxury or cost not required, just a clean comfortable bed and secure room as a base of exploration. Excellent WiFi to plan your adventures. That leaves more money available to spend elsewhere on the fascinating island of Ambergris Caye. A great location at the top end of San Pedro life. Staff were warm, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Just ask for what you want.
I'll be back as soon as I can manage.

It was fine. Not the cleanest, and the door was hard to open from inside and had no bolt lock, but I survived and would stay there again. Be aware that rooms on the "first floor" are on what us Americans would call the second floor.
