Refugio Explora Verde

The Ecolodge Refugio Explora Verde is a mountain lodge located at 1900 meters above sea level and 3.2 km from the town of Choachi with a temperate climate, lots of vegetation, flower gardens with many butterflies and a spectacular view of the eastern mountain range.

Located just an hour from Bogota, Colombia, is the ideal base camp to rest, breathe fresh air, contemplate the Andean landscape or the starry night from our giant hammock tree suspended 10 meters high in the middle of the forest, walk along its thematic trail, see the 165 species of birds of the region and the 6 species of hummingbirds that inhabit the refuge, you can hike following the more than 15 routes organized by ancestral paths, you can know the moor ecosystem and its emblematic frailejones, ride a bike. At night enjoy the warmth of a campfire and a pleasant chat. We have comfortable rooms, alpine shelters, safari tents and camping area.

Has restaurant service, original and healthy food, highlighting the Andean food and its ancestry. Its main house has a balcony with hammocks and an impressive view of the mountains, where you can also meet and enjoy the flight of a hummingbird. It also has a fireplace and a trustworthy tent, where no one attends you, because we believe in you. You will feel in your best refuge.

Refugio Explora Verde Policy and Condition:

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
