Thai hostel was fantastic, such a nice chilled vibe. The kitchen was the best I’ve had in the hostels in South America fully equipped and even had spare lunch boxes to meal prep or take pack ups. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean and good value for money. The bathrooms were relatively clean but could do with some modernising but you get more than what you pay for, would definitely stay again.

This was my favorite hostel during my time in Costa Rica! Everything from the location, the security, the atmosphere and the rooms were amazing. It was so easy to meet people with the layout, the kitchen was amazing and having AC in the rooms was great. The beds were also super comfortable. Hostel Santa Fe felt like home and I made so many great memories there. The staff were also amazing.

Bit of a strange hostel, very cramped, dangerous to have 3 story bunk beds given the recent tourist death in Guatemala. Great volunteers, truly wonderful friendly and funny people. No night guard which is a touch disconcerting, bathrooms not the cleanest even by hostel standards. Huge kitchen and good price per night, what more do you want? Owners are lovely too with great dog, resident cat though which I see isn't mentioned anywhere. Eclectic group of guests; roll of the dice if you're lucky!
