My stay at Hostel Villa Cacau in Trancoso was exceptional. This new hostel is right in the center of Trancoso and the host family is kind & loving. The wifi worked great in the dorms and common areas as well as on the large rooftop terrace that also comes with foam mats for yoga/workouts. The beds were comfortable and I slept great. Yet, travelers should be aware that the rooms are located above two local bars that play music past midnight including on weekdays. Tidy, clean, & awesome breakfast!
