Hakaia Community (Hostel & Working Space)
We are the first community and creative platform of its kind in Aqaba. We have created a new vision of entrepreneurship and travel, with the aim of providing both a co-working and creative space.
We aim to develop the concept of entrepreneurship and travel in the south of Jordan, where we inspire travellers and digital nomads to create amazing experiences and unforgettable memories through several different services.
Our hostel in the heart of Aqaba is located downtown next to the local bus station (with buses direct to Petra and Wadi Rum). There is a shared kitchen and living area with a balcony so you can enjoy the mountain views. We are on the second floor above the mini market.
We can give you information about buses and tips about things to see and do in Aqaba and Jordan to make your stay unforgettable.

Reception working hours - 07:00 to 23:00
Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash or card.
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.
No curfew.

I've been backpacking for nearly 10 years and Hakaia is amongst my favourite hostels. The owners are extremely accommodating and have thought of everything. You want food suggestions? QR code on the wall. Their tea corner is fantastic, cat is playful, and and the vibes great. Definitely stay here (or the sister hostel!)

I really liked Hakaia hostel, it is very cozy and closed to the city centre and to the beach. The owners are two kind and very helpful brothers and their cute cat. They offered us tea as soon as we got there and they prepared breakfast in the morning: hummus, falafel, bread and tomatoes (it was not only yummy, but also free!). We also got towels for free :)

Hi, the hostel was really good! Although the capsules were a big mistake. They cast intense blue light on the whole room, and all the others were not able to sleep properly. It also casted blue light from the fan controls inside the capsule so it was impossible to sleep properly. Additionally, two little computer fans are not enough to give enough air inside. It felt like a greenhouse. My recommendation is that you remove those capsules. In particular, they should not cost more because they are much worse t
