Casa Samay is a small hostel house. It has 5 bedrooms: 4 private rooms for a maximum of 2 people and 1 shared female bedroom with 3 beds. 2 shared bathrooms and a complete kitchen. Outside it has a front patio and a large outdoor living room with separate rooms. Casa Samay is ideal for you if you are looking to meet other travelers as interesting as you from all over the world, but at the same time you are looking for a quiet and uncrowded place.
We are a block and a half from the municipal market and 9 blocks from the ferry. A few steps away you will find a 24 hour pharmacy (where you can also find snacks and sodas), money exchange, bakery, ice cream shop and some of the most popular local food establishments such as Chilangos Taqueria, Los Sera's, Kooben Laab and Los Moros del Morrito.
Our private rooms have a double bed, two fans, a desk with a chair, a piece of furniture, two bureaus and sockets near the bed. Two of the rooms have large closets and one has air conditioning. The whole house has free high speed wifi. Casa Samay has vintage style rooms with touches of wood and various color combinations. The decoration has been done by the owners themselves.
On the premises we have nice bicycles for rent and also snorkeling equipment for rent.
Casa Samay Cozumel Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the 100% of your stay.
Check in from 15:00 to 20:00 .
Check out at 10:00 . but we have lockers to storage bags if guests need to do more activities on the island after that time.
Payment upon arrival by cash only.
Taxes not included - VAT: 16% + local tax 5%
Breakfast not included.

Reception hours: We do not have a reception, the entrance is AUTONOMOUS. We have a safe at the entrance with a key to enter.

A good hostel with very friendly owners willing to help you with all the questions you might have.
I had a private room, and there was no AC but multiple fans instead.

Ara (the host) is amazing! She gave us so many tips and informations for things to do in Cozumel for cheap and was always available to help with anything! The house was fully furnished and clean. Highly recommended!!

more than good. really homely place great people and great clean, well equipped place. everything you need and really good quiet (rare in mexico!) place to sleep dream and meet people. loved it. thankyou. the place definately suits its name.
