Totora Hostel, is a place that offers different spaces and activities for all those who are traveling, from comfortable and spacious rooms, places to work outdoors, to a terrace with the best sunsets in all of Huanchaco, as well surf trips and visits to nearby museums. We have private and shared rooms, with shared bathrooms, a kitchen with all the necessary elements to prepare all the food in an easy and practical way.

We are located on the main avenue of one of the most historic coastal resort in Peru. Huanchaco housed for many years different indigenous groups that belonged to the kingdom of Chan-Chan, today converted into a museum, it is located 10 minutes by car, and was declared a Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

In addition to this important characteristic, according to different Peruvian historians, the antecedents of surfing on a Hawaiian board come from the 'balsilla' (horse) of totora, which is currently used by the fishermen of the municipality, which makes this destination one of the most favorites when all its about looking good waves to surf. We have double rooms, without a balcony, but with large windows, which fill the entire space with light, as well as offering lateral views of the sea and towards the main streets of the municipality. The bathroom is located a few steps outside the rooms, they have hot water 24 hours a day and daily cleaning service.
