"Athens Backpackers was completely renovated from top to bottom in June 2021. It now has a 2 level Roof Bar called 'Sunnies' with unbeatable views of the Acropolis. And a downstairs lobby bar and co working space with a meze eatery called 'The Local' serving local food and drinks all day and night.
All rooms, bars and spaces at the property have 200MBPS hi-speed WiFi. All shared rooms have PODS with individual lights and charging stations. We have completely contactless check in/out and our door locks are covid proof and operated by your smart phone."

Our famous Sunnies Roof Bar is now split over 2 Roof Top levels with Insane views of the Acropolis, Mountains and Ocean. Our drinks & cocktails are hand crafted by Greek Maestro B Diddy and can be ordered till late.
Our new lobby bar is open 24hrs a day showcasing playlists and music from renowned Greek DJ & Musicologist Elephant Phoenix and also has a large space to chill eat or drink with spaces to socialize or just be on your own. With a wide selection or local craft beers and snacks to keep you fuelled and happy.
Our new patented capsule beds have USB ports, power points and private mood lights so you can escape everything to your own private space when ever you need to.
The building is fitted with smart technology throughout with coil heating/cooling, smart lights and keyless entry and high speed checkin available.
There is also free high speed Wifi throughout, 24 hour free luggage storage, free locally sourced breakfast from 8am - 10am

Is truly unbeatable only 3 mins walk from the Acropolis, 2 min walk to Hadrians Arch, 5 min walk to Temple of Zeus and 1 min to the Plaka and Ancient Cobblestone pathway that circles the city, in the coolest safest part of the city. We are only a 2 min walk from the Acropolis Metro Station with direct access to the beach if you need a dip.

Had a great time at Backpackers. They have a nice rooftop bar with great views and happy hour specials. The common areas were lively and I met some awesome people to tour around with! Rooms were typical. It was a bit warm in the rooms and the bathroom was always very humid, but it’s Athens. Great location near the acropolis, with everything you’d need nearby and a quick walk to transit/metro.

The room was out of toilet paper and there was no clear way to get more. Otherwise felt safe and comfortable.

I think it's where we are and who we are that make us unique. Travelling is for meeting people; that's why we've designed our place and all the activities so you do just that.
Our Skybar has 360 views of the Acropolis, so close you can almost touch it. Next door is the Fish Café, with the best meals in Athens under â'¬8. Our street also has a Laundromat and two unique barsâ¦plus, our hostel is on a road lined with orange trees! The smell of orange blossoms is amazing.
Our guests are constantly raving to me about our Sky Bar, since it has cheap ice-cold beers and cocktails and the fact they meet so many new people!
We cater to anyone and everyone because we all bring something unique to the party. We accommodate individuals wanting to meet people and families desiring privacy and amenities. We also have elevators in all buildings and emergency assistance call buttons in the bathrooms.
