My flight was delayed, and I didn’t get to this hotel until after midnight. Because I had put down a deposit, I thought my reservation was confirmed. HOWEVER, my room was given to someone else, snd it’s now 3 am in the morning. Although the person on duty at the hotel found me another room nearby (Elisa Hotel) for the night, it was not a good place. It was just better than nothing. I had to move to another hotel the next day. So be aware that a deposit is NOT a confirmation!

Perfect location for exploring the main sites in Sultanahmet. Literally step outside, cross the street and you have Hagia Sofia to your left and the Blue Mosque to your right. It's also a short walk down to the Galata bridge, where you can get ferries all over the city or cross over to Karakoy, Beyoglu, Taksim, etc. The breakfast is served in a top floor room with great views. Very touristy area though. Not the best for nightlife, restaurants or neighborhood experience.
