There was a rat!
Every employee was very nice and nothing about that was the problem. On my last night there a rat came out of the corner. Not clean at all. Everything was great until I saw the rat. So never going back there again. For £55 a night not worth it.

Great location and the staff were lovely. Bathrooms were pretty rundown and not very clean. Bed was uncomfortable and my room had no decoration, so not a great atmosphere. Breakfast was a juice box and pre-packaged pastries (British/European equivalent to a juice box and twinkies/ho hos). Wouldn't recommend, but doable if you're really in a tight spot.

Proximity to Paddington station, shops and restaurants is great. There’s a grassy area and benches across the street. They bring a basket of continental breakfast items to your room. Be prepared to carry your bags up one or more flights of stairs. My private room was super small. Light came from a window and a single bulb on the ceiling. The shared toilet was clean, although that will depend upon who you’re sharing it with. The shower was super small and less clean than the toilet.
