Welcome to Bodhi Hostel, where everything is designed with passion and nature in mind. Most of the furniture and decorations are handmade with recycled products or renewable resources. Through traveling, we hope for you to learn more about our world, about yourself, about people and cultures. Bodhi Hostel is named after the very tree under which Buddha achieved enlightenment. In creating an open and sociable atmosphere, we want you to make new friends, and leave feeling a little enlightened yourself.
We offer free breakfast, high speed internet WiFi, lockers, bikes for rent, communal kitchen, bbq area and bar with affordable beer.
Every bed in our place has a comfortable semi-therapeutic mattress (the same ones used in hospitals), pillow, hotel quality linen, towel, electric plug, individual lamps, fan, and curtains.
Our mission is to provide you with the best experience possible, whether you need a local guide or directions to get to the main attractions, we will do everything in our means to satisfy your needs.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Jacob helped me find things to do as well as logistics. Everything about this place is great, I like the setup they have (trash and recycling outside the kitchen, showers not in dorms, etc.) Common areas are very nice and green. Biggest complaint was the sleeping situation. Being on the top bunk of 3 was not ideal, they do give you a towel though. Not a party hostel but still social.

Very popular hostel in valle, although I’m not sure why. There is nothing special about this place, there are THREE STORY high bunks which is crazy hard to climb- no storage space when you are on the top/middle bunks. There is a security camera in the dorm watching everyone, which I just found creepy. The outdoor area at the back is nice, the staff are lovely, free breakfast is nice. Showers and bathroom area was pretty trash tho
