Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER is a trendy, self-service hostel/hotel hybrid in vibrant Vesterbro, 2 minutes walk from Copenhagen Central Station. Attune to the pulse of the city by making use of the house's features, including a bar and a bicycle shop. Wi-Fi is free.
At Urban House, guests can choose between private rooms with a bathroom or dormitories to share. All rooms include linen and individual reading lights. Towels and bedding are included in the price. Dorm rooms provide personal lockers. Padlocks can be purchased from the front desk. You have to be 18 years old to book a bed in a dorm. Guests under 18 can only book a private room if accompanied by a parent or at least a person over 18 authorized by their legal guardian or with a written declaration of consent and a copy of the ID card/passport of a legal guardian. The latter will only be accepted for minors aged 16 and above.
Local craft beer and live music can be enjoyed at the bar. Guests can mingle in the billiards lounge and the courtyard garden. We have a variety of relaxed walking tours and bar events arranged for your enjoyment throughout your stay. A designated quiet room, a movie room and a games room are also available.
Need to store your luggage? We've got you covered. Individual travelers can access luggage storage for a small fee, while it's completely free for groups.
Delicious breakfast buffet with yogurt, juice and of course the classic Danish bun, butter and cold cuts combo. Enjoy it with a cup of coffee. Served between 6:30 and 10:30 am for 99 DKK. .
Snack kiosk is open throughout the day. A communal kitchen, laundry room (between 7:00 am and midnight) and luggage lockers are found on site.

the location is the best thing about this hostel. the main issues for us was that the cards to our rooms didn't work and we had to get someone from reception every time we needed to go in, so that was just really annoying. we stayed for 3 nights and the issue wasn't fixed by the time we left. I think the hostel could have compensated us for that discomfort for example with a drink at the bar, or breakfast, or really anything just to show that they understood how inconvenient this is for us.

The property is at the perfect location literally just outside the central railway station, easily accessible to everywhere. The rooms were cleaned daily and the hostel itself was very clean. The staff was also very nice and helpful.
P.S they give free breakfast which I didn’t knew about ðŸ˜

Did the do. Room was significantly smaller than the images lead you to believe - couldn't open the bathroom door all the way because of the bed, let alone have a desk or a sofa in there! Twin room is in fact a double bed, with two separate duvets.
Location is as convenient as they say, doors lock, lifts work, shower is hot, check in & out is simple & friendly
