Great location for travel to and from the airport. Right near Taipei main station. Bathrooms and and common areas are the cleanest I’ve seen in any hostel. Not much of a social atmosphere if that matters to you. The staff are very nice and it’s an easy place to access the city by metro.

Stayed for a few days in a 4 Bed Dorm and found it very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and the common space very cozy. Bathrooms clean and tidy and have separate rooms for more privacy. Very close to Taipei Main Station especially if taking the train from or to the airport. As for the social aspect, met a couple people in the room I was sharing but found most people doing their own thing. My first time staying at this hostel. Very impressed: it was converted from an old building, and surely gave it a new life. The gentleman working at the front desk was dedicated, helpful and professional. I was escorted to my room upon checked in. And the Cafe on the ground floor was amazing too. Loved the common area on the top floor. So impressed about everything here, I extended my stay one more night. Thank you! Meader 1948, you made my visit to Taipei a pleasant one. Highly recommend.
