The owner has no desire to host you unless you are spending money in a private room or eating in his over expensive restaurant. When I arrived I thought he was a guest and I had to be asked to be checked in. I was shown no welcome or hospitality by him during my entire weeks stay. The rooms are cold, there was no hot water for a shower, the fire was only lit by other guests who collected wood by themselves and the terrace is an unfinished building site. The only saviour were the wonderful staff.

The place has spectacular views and it self the house is lovely , but you must be aware that in order to get up to the hill some taxi drivers won’t be glad to take you up as the road is hard to get unless you walk thru the Medina in the way to the Spanish mosque and walk 10 mins more.
