Refugio is a gem in the area. It is an absolutely beautiful property nestled in nature with beautiful gardens. Ed and the family are gracious and helpful hosts, making breakfast, helping you plan activities, chatting about music, etc. All of us in our group would have stayed another day and recognized how this place made our visit to the area even better.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever been in my life, without exaggeration. Perfect location: just a short bus ride away from busy touristy Salento, immersed in an amazing landscape, with a river that crosses the property. Perfect room: we had the private room ensuite, nothing to add, it had every comfort and looked even better than in pictures. Very clean too! Perfect ambiance: the owners and managers are lovely lovely people, they made us dinner upon request for a good price 10/10! Gracias
