Most social hostel i've had in Sri Lanka!!! Owner tries his best to get everyone socializing after the free family dinner. Beds super comfy (book the 8 bed dorm its huge). There are huge dogs which are super friendly 1 is even pregnant so you might get lucky to see puppies!!! Thanks for everything and allowing me to play Beerpong

The worst hostel I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far. The bathrooms were disgusting and the bedding didn’t feel clean. Some of the staff forced us to play drinking games and the music stays on loud until midnight so it’s really hard to get to sleep. The only good thing was the free family dinner. Glad I only stayed one night here.

The staff were only ok. They gave our friend a driver to drive them to the south but the driver was falling asleep which is so dangerous! Also they weren't that helpful with giving us a lift when we got stuck in the rain on the Pecco 22 trail. Also the dogs are slightly scary, barking. The pit-bull breed dog actually snapped at someone which is actually bad. Also the whole place smelled like dog. Common area was comfy and cosy, nice family dinner too.
