Honestly I was a bit hesitant due to other reviews but it was a very good affordable hostel. I didn’t meet any other solo travelers so maybe not the best option if you wanna meet people but it is close to bus stations and the port so pretty convenient. I was expecting it to be really dirty but it wasn’t. Overall I think it was a really good value for the price

A better impression than some other reviews I have read. Location is great. Very handy to tram, volcano ferry, good aquarium as well as bus stop for useful city sight shuttle. Tall people have to duck their heads in the corridor. Large guest lounge. Some additional staffing would be good. Area has amazing history.
