unfortunately you must pay in dollars or euros at the hostel. they charge the Boliviano at the blue dollar rate ( 1 dollar to 12). unfortunately we have been travelling a while and didn't have any foreign currency so had been taking cash out at the official exchange rate from ATMs. we were offered to pay by card but this needed to be done via a payment link which despite using two different cards and 3 different methods didn't work and we were told the network was down and it wasn't possible.

Lovely hostel, short walk from the centre, tasty breakfast. Not the most sociable hostel but staff were great and good areas to relax in the garden and inside.

Really good hostel, I enjoy it a lot. Stayed for two nights and wanted to note that the facility is really good and welcoming. The reception works 24/7 and even though we arrived really late they were available and helped us with any problem we had.
