Very difficult to access. The property is located behind a metal gate, in the middle of a suburban area. To get in, you have to call a number, and hopefully get someone to respond. Very difficult getting in. Virtually everything in the room was broken -- the toilet, the fan, faucets on the sink, the exterior door. Staff was busy apparently dealing with a wedding party. No hostel environment. Just an uncared-for motel and wedding center.

This was my first visit to Dominican Republic and first experience immersing myself in a spanish speaking culture, where my primary exposure had been reading and writing only.
