Uzuhouse

Good place to stay at. Near where events happen, and there is a shrine parallel to it aswell. The view from the roof terrace is also very pretty at night. Staff are overly helpful and have a smile on their face. Only problem I had was the hot water in the shower was inconsistent, though I would stay again !

I am overly thankful for the help I received over the phone in locating the hostel. The trains were down due to rain. I suggest listing directions how to get there from a train/bus station so you can prepare if Google maps doesn’t work. The view was great; there were a few too many flying insects in the shower for my liking; it’s because the window was open without a screen. Same for the dorm room, there was a jumpy spider on my luggage. I don’t know why the window was open if the A/C was on.

A nice stay. I’ve been travelling all over japan and the staff here have been exceptionally kind and nice. The location is beautiful and on the water. One negative is the dorm beds are made of plywood and aren’t the nicest. Very clean tho. No safe for valuables that I saw.
