Beautiful place with great food and some friendly staff, but overall not very welcoming. Some staff were unprofessional — one gave a rude reply when we asked about a massage, another refused to help because “the reception is closed.” Rules felt too strict: no flexibility for allergies, old food sold at full price, and posters threatening to charge a full night for late checkout. Weak shower and a bed that wasn’t properly cleaned. No warning about mosquitos during the massage.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed. Great pool. Occasional live music. Beach is great. Nice mix of people. Chilled atmosphere during the day. I do think for what you get in the private rooms it’s a little overpriced. The food is good but it’s not particularly Colombia.
