While the room and the commons spaces were nice, the restrooms and showers were tiny not leaving much space for movement or getting changed and keeping everything dry. The room i stayed in was also right by the train tracks (across the road from where you check in and where you are lead to believe rooms will be) so I heard and felt every train going by.

The laundry etc being across the street is not convenient. Especially if you have very much luggage or you want to do your laundry Or you have a question or to check out. I had to leave my luggage on the street because I wasn’t gonna drag it up stairs to check out. Otherwise, the women’s dorm was very clean and luckily none of my roommates snored! It was very quiet and not the party atmosphere I was expecting if you wanted a party I guess there was space but not disturbing the sleeping area

I loved this hostel! It was clean, felt very safe, and had a great location near all the best sites. The hostel staff were great in helping us get to where we wanted to go such as Swanston farm. Would stay again and highly recommend!
