Bed Station Hostel & Bar

The facilities and location were good. Otherwise, there were almost no proper reception staff. presence which made check in/out and assistance booking common transport options to towns like Theth and Valbona, extremely difficult. Bar staff continually told us differing times that the receptionists shift would start so she could assist us, but after returning to the hostel multiple times, she didn't arrive.

Good for a few nights stay, was pretty dead and we had the whole 6 bed dorm to ourselves which was nice but not very social. The facilities weren’t great, but we were able to do a laundry wash and leave our bags whilst doing the Valbone - Theth hike. The staff were nice but didn’t really seem to know what was going on as no one actually worked on reception they were all bar staff-This meant that it was very disorganised. We also had no hot water on one of our nights & found hairs in the bed.

Originally planned to stay 1 night at Bed station and in Shkodër, but ended up staying 3😊 The hostel is very fresh and clean, and the staff is super friendly. My only cons is that the showers are mainly cold and the water pressure is weak. Also isn’t the most sociable hostel, but they did have events Friday and Saturday where people from Galley Hostel came which made it a bit more social (though this wasn’t announced and we kinda stumbled upon the party).
