This was a strange hostel (mainly staff), but was a great bed in a private room for a good price. Clean shared bathrooms and a nice mattress for under $20 a night right in the middle of La Candelaria. We booked this hostel and was put in a completely different hostel around the corner. There was no one there, the plugs in the room didn't work, they asked for you to leave your keys when you left the hostal and get them when you came back everytime which I found really strange and absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. This wasn't what we booked and instead of saying they double booked and we're moving us to a different place, instead they tried to say that they were the same hotal.

Second time staying at this place. The private rooms are lovely, comfy beds and good showers! The rooftop is great, the staff are really kind and the food from the restaurant is great too!
